1935 Warner-Davis Arms Expert Hammerless Boxlock 20ga153 viewsMirror bores, tight lockup, perfect checkering, but multiple "handling marks" make me believe this gun is unfired, but poorly stored since 1935-ish.CriscoKid

1935 Warner-Davis Arms Expert Hammerless Boxlock 20ga155 viewsLH receiver side is marked "N.R.Davis & Sons" in large flowing script over small block lettering: "warner-davis arms, chicopee falls, mass, usa" - means this gun was assembled from warehoused parts by Stevens Arms in 1935 after they bought out the failed Crescent-Davis Arms Co.
N.R.Davis & Sons was in Assonnett, Mass since the 1880's, moved to Norwich, CT when they merged with/as Warner-Davis Arms in 1917. Davis-Warner aquired by Crescent Arms, Norwich, CT in ca.1922 until 1930 failure.
Original 26" bbls.
