Would you still buy a Y-gun if the retail cost was nearly double what they presently sell for new here in the U.S.A. ?

If an A-71 was selling for around $700.00 new, or an SPZ ME was priced at around $880.00, would you still find them desirable ? If not, what would you be inclined to buy, instead?

The advantages of the Yildiz are the warranty and neutral cast. Add that much to the purchase price means you could buy other brands and make up the difference at the gunsmith.

So, I take it the answer is "no," then?

What other make and model would you buy, instead?

Hard to say, since I've always bought the Yildiz! If I wanted a sxs I'd get a CZ and have the stock corrected for LH use. Another factor is some places, mostly just Davidson's dealers, offer an over the counter warranty like Academy does on Yildizs.

It is hard to do an apples to apples on this topic.

All of the ones I've shouldered (~5-7) have been cast-off, to varying degrees. Being a southpaw shooter (now) is the only reason why I don't own any.

I own 2 Yildiz OU's and really like them but would vote no on this. Not sure what I would look at instead though
