So I see the guns are out, wondering if anyone has had any experience with them yet?

A B Rizzini at sub $2k price range sounds appealing, but not going to rush into anything.

I have some 16 gas on order. I think they will be a great . They are making in both a steel frame version and a ally model. They last time I spoke to the Rizzini boys, only some show guns have arrived. That was a couple of weeks ago.

Great to hear I think the light version will be a hit. A 30" 16ga version would also grab some attention.

Northern Firearms has 3 of the 16ga BR110s listed on Gunbroker.com at a buy now price of $1,850. All are 28" steel receiver guns listed at 6.4 lbs. and they look pretty nice.

I'd love to hear someone compare the 16 gauge steel 28" model Rizzini to it's Browning comparison priced 28" White Lightning.

I'd be more interested in something that is not comparable on the market currently (alloy model or a steel sporting model with 30" barrels). The only thing that has kept me from a Browning 16 gauge 525 sporting or Browning 16 gauge Superlight Feather has been the lack of a recent production run. If Rizzini was to fill that gab in either way I'd be more interested and in the case of the alloy that looks quite possible to happen.

We have just receiver a couple of BR 110 guns in. 16 ga standard weight and a 28 ga. light.
I am impressed with both the quality of the workmanship, and value. I have now weighted the 16 ga stand yet, but the 28 ga light was 5 lb 4 oz. I was so impressed with the little 28 that I am seriously considering ordering a 28 for myself.

Best

I just bought a Rizzini BR110 in 16gauge 28" from Northern Firearms for $1,850 and free shipping, looks like a solid shotgun, but the weight is not what Rizzini claims as 6.4lbs. Mine weighs in at 7.5lbs I called Northern Firearms and told me that they used Rizzini's quote.
I'm hoping that with the weight there will be less recoil.
I will take the shotgun out to try it this weekend and I'll post the results.

In my mind the 16 gauge excels as an upland gun, and 7.5 lbs is just too much for that. Might be OK as a target gun, but an 8 lb 12 gauge is ideal.

I just received a BR 110 16 GA. with 30" barrels. Nice gun BUT IT WEIGHS 7.5 LBS !! Sent it back ! Not going to carry that heavy of a gun. REALLY disappointed. My dealer is going to see what's up & possibly find one 7 lbs or under. Sure hope so.

You could order one of the BR110 lights.

Have thought of that but no 30" barrels and I don't care for the engraved silver receiver, however in my browsing I saw one with a blued receiver. Gonna see if I can get some more info.
