A gunsmith on www.gunbroker.com is repairing the Charles Daly semi-auto 12g 3" Field. The Locking Block is what breaks most of the time as with my gun, and he replaces them with CNC machined hardened steel so wont break like original. Symptoms are wont fire or wont cycle properly. To determine if thats part that is broke: take off your barrell, take off trigger group and slide the Bolt out and look inside the Bolt will probably see major shattering of metal "Locking Block"
Just to let people know as they are difficult to find parts for them since Charles Daly went out of business.

Wow, $125 for a single part to save a $200 shotgun.

You forgot to add the return shipping of $28, now the total price is $153 in repairs to a $200 shotgun.
