When stocks are bent, I hear that they usually bend back. Is this true, or can bend be an option that lasts?

Thanks.

Stocks have been bent since the 19th century in England and they remain where they were put...

I've read through enough of this thread to understand that Mike is super busy and to just pack up the barrels and send it with a note and $. I get it....But, does anyone know if I need to send extra for crome lined o/u barrels to be opened up?

Regards

Does Mike not monitor the posted email account? I sent an email and asked if he could install choke tubes in a SXS that measures right on .805 OD, which is the listed minimum, and the barrels are also chrome lined. I haven't heard back, so I'm wondering if I should just send him the barrels? It does seem to meet his minimum specs. Thanks!

If you want to communicate to Mike, pick up the phone and call him. I suspect he'll tell you he can't make a judgement call over the phone. Ultimately, you're going to have to send him the barrels if you want him to look at them and decide what he can/should do.

I personally would not send Mike Orlen my barrels without first speaking to him. Maybe he was out of town or out of the shop when you called. I presume you are calling (413) 256-1630 during Eastern time zone work hours?

I tried calling and emailing with no response, should I just send him my barrels? I'm wanting to get 2 barrels done. Let me know thanks.

I never contact him first. I just send the barrels. They've always come back with the work performed as requested.

...for those trying to reach me, I apologize...I am here quite reliably on weekday mornings (and often beyond), eastern time...for the past few months, I have been unable to either shut off or monitor my answering service with the phone company. I noticed today that there are now 33 messages I cannot hear. Today, I have solved this by turning on an answering machine that will answer the phone one ring before the phone companies service, and I will be monitoring that machine. If you want to talk, call me in the morning (413) 256-1630 and I'll be here, but often in the afternoon I will either be gone or working on barrels - at which time I probably won't answer the phone...

I got a hold of him and sent 2 barrels today for my Remington 1100. Looking forward to their return!

Is the price list on page one current? I went through all the other pages and didn't see an updated one.
