ok, I have owned several brands of O/U's and all had a straightforward method to release the top lever tension when disassembling the gun but I just got my Bean/Guerini Tempio O/U and can't figure out to release the tension on the top lever when the barrels are taken off.

Anyone know what the trick is? Thanks.

on my Summit Trap it's the little lever in the bottom of the recever. just push it down with the tip of your finger

What he said but push the top lever to the right and hold that doo-hickey down then release the lever.

BTW, I have a friend that is a gun slammin' shut idjit, he broke that bitty lever off. But do you think that he learned, Nooooo!, He still slams it shut. Maybe he will get the hint when it breaks again.

So, I've been pushing on the little dohickie for about 6 months now but the problem is I've been pushing it back rather than down. Not sure how I could be so careful/tupid as to never push down. Another year and I'll know how my gun works.
