I have a question on how to qualify for class all american ...
On my average card it say you need 800 targets in each gauge and 500 doubles targets
But on NSSA web site it is the same 800 for each gauge and 300 doubles.
Does any one know if it is 300 or 500 doubles targets

If I'm not mistaken for Class All-American it's 800 12ga, 500 20ga through .410 and 300 doubles. Concurrent All-American I think is 800 12ga-.410 and 500 doubles for most concurrent (some require less birds). Open All American is 1000 in all gauges and 500 doubles.

No minimums are required for Open All-American team selection.

"The first requirement for eligibility is that minimum registered targets must be shot: 800 12-gauge; 500 20-gauge, 28-gauge, and .410 bore; and 300 doubles targets."

Open All-American will have minimums starting next year by overwhelming vote of the NSSA Directors in July.

My question is, why wasn't this brought up as an item for discussion at the BOD meeting that will be held in about 5 weeks. That is where it was brought up before but this time it was done by an email vote.

If it was a matter before the BOD at the annual meeting only some of the Directors would have had input and a vote. A mail ballot gave all Directors a vote. I like that it was a mail ballot.

Showme, it was brought up by the EC committee at a BOD meeting a few years ago and that was where it was changed. If they want to do everything by mail, there is no need for an annual BOD meeting.
