No skeet or nsca shoots in NY. Didn't pay their dues?

All the 2018 NSSA shoots are listed, just checked.

Might want to be a little more careful about throwing around flippant accusations, I am the sec/trea of the NY skeet assn, and the one responsible for paying the dues and submitting the shoot applications, and can assure you that the dues were paid on time (12/24) and the shoot application forms were submitted months ago (1/2).

Plenty of Registered Skeet shoots in New York and one of the other guys and I from our home club are trying to set up yet another one on Long Island in Late April or Early May.

Skeetman, not throwing out flippant accusations sir. Check with clay target magazine and they don't list NY in the february magazine. I'm sure you do a great job.
Just a observation, no accusation intended sir...

Clay Target Nation is pretty much a useless as a source for shoot information. It's better to just use 'shoot lookup' at MYNSSA.com.

NSSA/NSCA publications are typically 2-3 months behind best case, meaning they are printing December and maybe January stuff now. Since the target year now runs until 12/31 instead of 10/31 everything is going to get pushed back by at least 2 months.

He's probably referring to the February issue, which had a section showing all the shoots for the entire year, for both NSSA and NSCA.

It is unfortunate that New York wasn't included, as some other states. I notice Maine is not included, but do believe they throw some targets.

Are people in 2018 still using magazines to find shoot schedules/where to shoot?

I used to like the way the old schedules and results were posted in the one Skeet publication, but now I go to the web site and down load, which is a pain to go through one state at a time. Maybe I have missed an instruction on how better to do it.

Me too. But the movers and shakers at NSSA don't, so you don't either. Management by myopia.

Two separate magazines were much better IMHO.

I don't shoot registered targets so what could I possibly know or have to offer?
