I'm sure this question has been asked before, but the "Search" engine here is down.

What's been y'all's experiences with sending guns in? Any shipper you prefer? Ever get a "noway we can ship that" if you tell them it's a shotgun?

I need to send my 28 in to have it fitted for 20 and .410 barrels.

Just wondering if there are any pitfalls (no pun on Pit StoP) to sending guns by shippers.

Thanks,

Ron

Ron,
Sent mine via US Mail......NO issues, complaints, or problems...If I remember right I put about 4000.00 insurance on it and I don't remember the cost......I do know that the cost of having the gun sent back from Guerini was cheaper than what I paid having it sent there........Terry

I used US mail or FedEx. UPS gave me a hard time once and once was enough.
Yes insure you gun just to play it safe.

FedEx...no issues. Matter of fact when called they said do not mark it as a gun just ship it.

Just sent my duck gun off to NY to get dipped and it too was fine.
