Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forums as well as Spanish SxS shotguns. I recently have got into upland hunting and have been looking for an older SxS to use for pheasant/grouse/woodcock. Yesterday I stumbled into a local gun shop and he had a gun marked as an AYA 311. After doing some searching I could not find out any info on the gun. Nowhere on the gun does it say AYA so I sent pictures to an AYA collector guide friend and he says it isn't an AYA. The price was marked $799, which it seemed like a nice little gun for the price so I was curious if anybody on here could tell me what the gun was based on some pics. On the top of the barrel all it says is "Pride of Spain" and "Made in Spain."

Also, I was in Cabela's over the weekend and they had a 20 ga Reno for $450. I was curious if this was a good gun as I've never heard of Reno. Also, if it is would that be a proper price?

Here are the "AYA" pics and I'd like to thank anyone who responds in advance!!!

Nobody has any idea what this gun could be or has ever heard of Reno guns?

The photo of the frame has too much glare for me to read the maker's marks. With those (usually two letters) I could probably tell you who made it.

Info on these is kind of scarce.
I own three Renos .... a 12 a 20 and a 16 gauge... My father bought the 12 in the mid 60's for $95. He told me that they were all the same price for each gauge. They were made by Jose Uriguen and mine were imported by York cutlery in the 60's I believe. I have seen some sidelock models , but I'm not sure about them. They seem to be a well made sturdy gun. They're not the fanciest guns but they work... and well. Good luck with yours. I once saw a 28 gauge on GunBroker , but...... it wasn't to be.
