I sincerely apologize for asking this question again. I did try to search, but didn't have any luck.

I'd like the name/email/phone number of the person (lady?) that sells the once fired hulls for NSSA (or whichever group it was?)? I have papcharlie's info, but I can't find the paper I had printed with the other point of sale.

A friend want to buy 1,000 once fire Rem hulls and I thought I'd be able to give him the info right away, but I guess my filings system is not as good as I thought.

Thanks, Bruce

Recob's target shop. Phone #608-643-6424. $100 per 2500 STS hulls or a nickel apiece for amounts less than 2500, Plus shipping, great people to deal with. Cheers.

I think you are looking for Marsha Vanduyn.

Her e-mail is mvanduyn@satx.rr.com

That said, there has been some grumbling about the quality of hulls she provides. They are supposed to be "once-fired" but some report getting hulls that were far from that. YMMV

You did mention (lady?) which makes me think you MIGHT be thinking of Marsha VanDuyn. She is ee106 on GunBroker.com. There was a discussion a few weeks ago in which a couple of posters indicated they had not been happy with the hulls she shipped. However, there have been a number of other posters that were very happy. My personal experience is at various times:
1000 Red 12 Ga AA's
1000 Gray 12 Ga AA's
1000 12 Ga Rem Gun Clubs
550 20 Ga AA's
I was very happy with all. She does not guarantee all once fired but says a "high percentage" are. The 1000 Gun Clubs I got for around $10.00 were at least 95% once fired. The Gray AA's were all once fired as were the AA 20's. The Red AA's were probably 70-80%. She is currently listing (on Gunbroker.com) 1000 Gun Clubs 12 gauge for well under $10.00 (last I checked $6.00). Drop her a note and tell her what you want. On my request she was able to provide me with all 8 fold crimps (no six folds.) Personally I am a big fan of Gun Clubs. If you can get 1000 of them for $6.00 and throw our nearly half of them it is still not a bad deal.

I'm sure there are other vendors out there, this has been my experience.

There are quite a few for sale on Gunbroker.com. I purchased 1000 Winchester AAHS 12 ga hulls there and have been very happy with them--now going on round 3 with them.

Yeah...$6 a thousand would be a good deal! I think you mean $60 per thousand or $6 per hundred; that's $.06 each. I doubt that you will find them anywhere for just over a half cent apiece.

The fact that you assume I am wrong does not really concern me. However, if you are going to make a post on here telling the world I am wrong, you might consider going to Gunbroker.com and confirming that I am wrong (before telling the world.) As of today at 2:00pm on Gubroker.com vendor ee106 is listing item 196810187 which is 1000 (NOT 100) Green Remington 12 gauge hulls. The opening bid price is $6.00 (NOT $60.00) and the buy now price is $9.00. Yeah- according to my math this is slightly over 1/2 cent a piece. And Yeah- it is a good deal, that is the point I was trying to make.

I am sorry. Didn't mean to say you were "wrong." With Gun Club hulls selling for about 6 cents apiece in some places, it was just hard to believe it was really six-tenths of a cent. I did go to Gunbroker and confirmed that the current bid is, indeed, $9 for 1,000. It will be interesting to see what the final price is.

My apologies.

Thank you. I do watch Gunbroker pretty closely and she has this (1000 Gun Clubs) listed quite often. The final price is often $6.00 or $7.00 The current "BUY NOW" price is $9.00. I am a huge fan of Gun Clubs, Are they as nice as STS or Nitros? Definitely not! BUT, at less than a penny apiece they are mighty fine hulls. I did buy 1000 of these from her in November of last year. On that auction the starting price was $12.00 and I got it for $13.00. She often lists 1000 gray AA's or 1000 Red AA's for $35. I have purchased both -she delivers what she says (at least she has to me.)

I get the feeling that you have not looked at Gunbroker much. (Absolutely no offense intended.) I was sort of amazed when I first discovered it. It took me a bit to figure out how it worked. BUT, she stipulates the BUY NOW price is $9.00. This means you can point and click and buy now for $9.00. The starting bid is $6.00 and there are no bidders (so far.) Take a shot and bid $6.00 The auction ends tomorrow. You might very well get them for $6.00. I have made several purchases from her for the starting bid or one dollar over.

I have no idea if you do 20 gauge or not. But, she also often lists 1000-20 gauge Gun Clubs for about $16.00-$18.00. She has them for $16.00 right now.

6 cents each is too much for Gun Clubs.

wander over to trapshooters.com.. someone is always selling sts for 3.5 cents + shipping. myself, range pickups, dumpster diving, is always free. a good scrounger always brings more hulls back to his house than he brought with him to the club.

I've got quite a few 1 fired Grey AAs - bagged up in bunches of 250 for $7.50 + freight.
Freight for a Wallmart 12x12x12 box with a 1000 in it is about $20. to the midwest.
let me know.

Personally, for 1000 GC hulls, I would go to Dick's and buy 4 flats on sale and then I'll have 1000 empties when I'm done shooting those

I'll bet those $9.00 GC hulls will cost ten more bucks to ship making the cost almost 2 cents each.... not all that bad, but boy, am I glad that my club started selling GCs 3 or 4 months ago. Since then I have managed to collect about 4000 GC hulls... for free.

Charlie is a great guy to deal with, but he is only shipping in cool weather months. He goes back north in the Summer. So stock up while he is working.
