Interested in your 572 drops not seen any data for bushings drops. This also gives volume estimates for stack up. Mainly interested in MEC bushings but this thread may be good information for any one looking to use the new win powder.

When I get a new powder that isn't in the bushing charts, I refer to Lee's VMD chart.

For 572, the published VMD is 0.0823.
Then I calculate the diameter of the bushing for the desired powder drop.
Diameter=2*SQRT(Grains*VMD/(PI()*2.54*2.54*2.54))

And so for 572 it comes out like:

Grains Diameter
10 .253
11 .265
12 .277
13 .288
14 .299
15 .310
16 .320
17 .330
18 .339
19 .349
20 .358
21 .366
22 .375
23 .384
24 .392
25 .400
26 .408
27 .416
28 .423
29 .431
30 .438

This works out well for Hornady bushings.
For MEC bushings I refer to this thread to determine the diameter of the numbered MEC bushings.
http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=204955

So for a 21 grain drop, I need a .366 diameter bushing so I start with a #21 MEC bushing, or maybe a #22, and use a scale to verify the drops.

Thanks very good information, and seems the powder company's finally catching up. They should have released the bushing data with the reloading data that could have helped in sales.

This seems like a do all powder for the 20 and 28 gauges target and heavy hunting loads plus increased velocity too. I will still have to send out shells for testing do to no AA28HS wad data.
