Anyone have any load data for a 1oz load using Remington hulls, win 209, red dot and cb4118-12b wads? I have about 4K of these wads I'd like to use up, and read they can be used for 1oz loads as well.

I've also read that you can use the same Load as 1-1/8oz loads for 1oz but not sure if that's true.

Alliant didn't have anything listed on their site for this combo

Claybusters claim it's the same as a windjammer wad. There are many loads listed under windjammer.

Contact Alliant. http://www.alliantpowder.com/questions/default.aspx
As it is primarily a 1 1/8 oz wad, your issue might be enough stack height, using only 1 ounce of shot.

Here's a novel approach to questions like this:
Bring up Google on your browser.
Type in "CB 4118-12B Load Data".
Click enter.
Select the first item that comes up.
It is from Claybuster. It includes two pages of load data. It does include 1 and 1 1/8 ounce loads but the 1 ouncers are not in Remington (probably for exactly the reason Oregunner states.)

Try a load of 1oz with 1 1/8oz data and see if it crimps ok.

I just did as albatross suggested. If it will work with Win or Fed hulls, it will work with Remingtons. CB doesn't do their own testing but uses other peoples test and they just didn't find any 1oz loads with Rem hulls.
