I’m going to start reloading bismuth after this duck season and went to the Hodgdon site for data.
What I found very strange was that under the shell type selection the only AA hull listed were AA Compression formed (bismuth) but for lead loads they list AA Compression formed and HS grouped as the same.

I know that the two hulls do not have the same volume but also I noticed that some 1-1/4 oz and 1-3/8 oz bismuth loads used the same wads thus it seems that column issue of HS hulls might be effectively controlled by wad selection as is in lead loads.

Does anyone have any experience loading bismuth 1-1/4oz using the HS hull?
