I have some rio 20ga shells with rio 209 primers. I have some 1078-20 7/8 wads. Are there a rescipe I can load these 2 together.

It is doubtful that there is a published (tested) recipe with those components. Rio primer data is scarce, with the only data published by Rio for 12 ga hulls.

BPI publishes loads, for whatever they're worth, for the Rio hull and primer, but nothing with the 1078-20 wad.
