I’m wanting to load a 1200 FPS 1oz load and have 8lbs of Solo 1000. ( it’s 20 years old ), cheditte 209 primers and a truckload of new AA hulls. All I’m finding is 1oz loads with Remington STS hulls. Everything on Alliants data says 1 1/8oz.

Anyone have a recipe ?

BPI lists AAHS, Win 209, PT 1232 wad, 18 gr Solo, at 1200 fps and 9000 psi.

Of course the PT wad is no longer available.

At that pressure I'd sub in what you have and send some off for testing. Too many substitutions to just shoot them, IMO.

Hopefully someone else can fill in the holes on the changes to the hull.

A google search will yield a discussion from 2013 on the trap shooters forum. There are a couple of recipes discussed in that thread.

This is true. But, looking at the 1 oz. data for the Rem hull, I get the impression the powder is too slow for a charge that light, the pressures are very low. That indicates the powder is not ideal for 1 oz. Solo 1000 appears similar to Green Dot or International, but maybe a bit slower. But, that having been said, there is no reason you can't take a load from the 1 1/8 oz. data set for AAHS and load it to 1 oz, assuming you can find a wad that will get the stack height correct. It will be an inconsistent, dirty load.
