New to reloading and just got 4 flats of Gun Club 12 ga. shells delivered. Yes I paid a ton for them but I am in FL for the winter and my reloading stuff is back home in the Peoples Republic of VA. My question is should I save these hulls to reload? I have 1000 AA shells/hulls in hand now. Things being what they are I am loathe to throw any hulls away. Advice please?

I collect GC's to reload and toss at the SC range. AA/STS are reloaded multiple times for skeet and eventually become SC tossers.

If you don't want them someone will, its a shame to the waste them. Just bag them up and leave them in the clubhouse marked "FREE".

As I said new to reloading and don't want to toss good reloadable hulls. Been tossing Fiocchi and Noble Sport but don't want to toss GC if they reload well.

If you are reloading Winchesters, the Remington GC hulls will take the same components. Save them! I save mine to give to reloaders in my Gun Club.

I just switched from AA to Gun Club: they do load better in my opinion. Every time someone says " People republic of Virginia" ; my heart melts I'm the last of 7 generations of Virginian's.

It is beyond sad what has happened to the formerly great Commonwealth of VA. We go back to the late 1600's in my families. The same thing is happening to all the southern states. Influx of people fleeing failed states but bringing their politics with them. GA fell, next is TX then SC, AL will all become blue and we will live under the tyranny of the left. Posting these words will probably put me on the radar screen of the new communists.

In 12ga, all I reload is Gun Clubs. They load very well and I get 5~7 loads out of them before I toss them. Most days at the range I can pickup 100+ from the ground. If you don't want them, you can ship them to me...

Virginia and the rest of the "Solid South" was 100% Democrat controlled for 100+ years.

Interesting nowadays just the mention of “the Left” causes some to immediately draw a correlation to “Democrat” or “Democrat controlled” .... I don’t believe that just because one is Democrat instantly means they are Leftist .... or, perhaps I am wrong about that ... nowadays anyway?

Save them. I pick up all the gun Clubs I can find(usually come home with a hundred or more every time I hit a bigger course)and when my AA stash runs out I'm going to start loading the CG.

Gun Clubs are very reloadable, and last quite a while. I prefer the Remington GC, Premier, Nitro, Game Load hulls over the AAHS hulls, actually I give AAHS hulls away. I have a lifetime of the Remington hulls stored away.

OK I am not sure which hulls on the Hodgdon website the GC are but I have 209 primers, Titewad powder and Claybuster CB1110-12 and CB1118-12 wads. Load them the same as the AA HS hulls-right?

Gun Club hulls use the same Remington STS and Nitro recipes.

I have been blessed to have spent my life hunting and fishing the Shenandoah Valley and the neighboring mountains. I live in the foothills 10 miles east of Shenandoah National Park. It is amazing country with rich history and awesome people. Not to mention great hunting and fishing.
