Don't be knocking Cheerios, I've started loading a 5/8 oz 28ga shell that works just as good as a 3/4 oz load but needs ONE cheerio to make a good crimp. So far I've just used the regular Cheerio's but I'm looking at trying the multi grain or even the Honey-nut style and see if my patterns tighten any.....

I've used plenty of Cheerios. They work. But I now use and prefer puffed rice.

Do any of you guys have pattern pictures of 3/4oz loads?

Even if I did they truly would be of no help to you as every gun/powder/wad/choke patterns differently.
Just remember to choke up 1 or 2 chokes and you will do just fine.

LOL I know. but I can't fathom shooting 3/4oz and having enough pellets to make it worthwhile on the pattern board. I've shot heavy 12ga and 10ga for too long. I thought dropping down to 1oz loads in my 12ga was crazy.

Out of the 10,561 rounds loaded about 7,000 have been 3/4 oz. They work for what we are doing: just plinking at clays. Makes a fun day at the range.

Pattern your 12 gauge load. Now pattern your 3/4 oz. load and keep choking up until your pattern density at the POI is as close to the 1 oz. load as you can get it.
