I've never seen it this "bad". It would be nice to see ammo and components back in stock. As we probably all know, ammo and components go on the shelves or back in stock online, and rapidly sell out. At some point the supply will catch up, and prices will level off. That's when I'll replace what I've used.

The statistics indicate a marked increase in gun ownership caused by Covid cabin fever. Whether the increase in ammo demand will lead to a sustained increase in ammo demand is the question. If the ammo demand increase is sustained, then there is a question whether the current ammo production capacity is sufficient to satisfy it. if not, are any of the producers willing to invest in increase production capacity? If not, get ready for increased ammo prices and more people looking to reload.

I didn't see a whole lot of encouraging things in either of those articles.
all I seen was one company owns a whole bunch of gun related companies, and another one owns most of the other half. easy peasy price control when there's almost zero competition.

That's when I'll replace what I've used. Even if you have ammo, you'd still have to go to an indoor range and stand in line  . More shooters, more guns, now more ammo... but no more places to shoot... (I speak for Los Angeles where I live).
