I'm planning some bird hunting, and my Remington 1100 has a 30" full choke barrel.

Would like to fit this gun with Remington's 30" steel shot vent rib barrel (#29505) that can accommodate screw-in chokes.

I'm kind of new to this, and wondering if this Remington barrel will fit this lefty receiver? Is there such a thing as lefty barrels for lefty receivers?

My thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

Only left handed barrels will work. I do not think they offered a steel shot barrel left handed.

Thanks much for the guidance.

Remington confirmed what you knew already. Please see below -

"Thank you for visiting Remington Country. No, that barrel will not fit on a left handed receiver. We do not currently have any barrels that will fit your shotgun. May want to check with Corsons Barrels for a used barrel.

I guess what I have here is a good left-handed trap gun.

Thanks again.

Send it off to Mike Orlen for threading.
See the gunsmithing forum, you won't be dissatisfied!
Insure that package though.
Finding left hand barrels is well, you know.
