What is the statute of limatiations on a lone? Lent money to someone, want my money back.Want to know if its to late before I file in small clames .

Depends on your state. If you don't have a written contract, you'll have trouble collecting.

Since this is listed under the south-west regional forum I can tell you that a contract written for debt (loan) has a six (6) year limitation (per ARS 12-548) in Arizona......I don't know about the other south-west States...........Terry
