I'm looking for a gun fitter in my area north of Detroit that someone can recommend highly. I don't need any thing major done, I believe just shorten up the stock to fit me and refit wood butt plate. Thanks

I have a friend that lives in richmond who is into shooting and has mentioned some gunsmiths in the past. I will talk to him and let you know.

Thanks rolex, it looks like they specialize in fitting. Just what I'm looking for and close enough to home. I take it you have used him?

Thanks guys, they sound like very good fitters. I'll be talking to them and getting my Caesar Guerini fit.

I heard good things about Pat's instruction, but didn't know he fit guns as well. Thanks again

Sorry to resurrect an 8 year old thread, but I'm currently in the same situation as the OP. I need a slight stock bend done on a new Citori. After researching this board and other sources, I dropped my shotgun off with Pat Lieske at Michigan Shooting Center in Lake Orion this morning. Seems like a great guy, and I'm confident he'll do a great job. As an added bonus, what a fantastic store! Big changes since I shot skeet there years ago. Looking forward to getting the gun back, and shooting a bit at Bald Mountain!

***Edited to add - Picked up my Citori today and the fit seems perfect. Really a nice job, and no effect on the finish. I highly recommend Pat.
