Ok, so we are moving to be closer to the grandkids. I've shot at Shenandale (Swoope) and at the Piedmont Sportsman Club (Gordonsville), but Rivanna Gun Club (Albemarle County) looks to be the closest. Anyone have any experience there?

I am not a member at Rivanna, but I shoot IDPA pistol matches there often. I have seen members shooting trap and their website mentions a skeet program also. The people who run the pistol program are top notch and I would have no doubt the shotgun programs are well run and staffed by good people also.

Bob, you may want to check out Flying Rabbit and Quail Ridge. One is in Lexington and the other is in the Harrisonburg area. these may be closer to afton. Oh yeah there is also Central Va. Sporting which is in Palmyra.
