Hello All,

I'm looking for a Krieghoff gunsmith in the Northern Virginia area.

Any recommendations ?

Thanks,

Dave, Laurence Pylinski is in Cumberland, VA and without doing a search, I don't know exactly where that is located in the state. Mr Pylinski travels and I have seen him at the Ohio State Trap shoot for the last few years. I have had him work on three Brownings. I have always been happy with the work, price, and attention to detail. He seems to be a great guy and other vendors I know feel the same way. I would let him work on anything that I own (I don't have any K-guns). His website shows that he is K-gun approved. The number listed on his site was 804-357-2393. Here is the link to his site. http://www.pylinskiarms.com/index.html

It looks like Cumberland, VA is in about the middle of the state.

I wouldn't worry about local, I'd worry about good. Ottsville or Ernest Marlette-- take your pick.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm heading to DeWitts (Ellerbe, NC) for a gun fitting with Dennis DeVault and Ernest is just up the road in Winston Salem. Looks like I'll pay him a visit.

Takecare.

Pylinski is west of Richmond, about an hour out. He's easy to find.
He's worked on my Browning, and I have had no problems since.

From what I hear, Marlette is a very good person to go to around that area.

I can't recommend Marlette enough - an interesting guy with a sense of humor to boot.

Nothing funny about his triggers though - everything he does is first rate!
