I dont know about a Nova, but i had a M1 super 90 and bought a Carlsons choke and it would not pattern period. I finally gave up on it. I went back to the full that came with it. I had a SBE2 and it patterned great with a Jellyhead and a Rhino. Yours might pattern good with a carlsons, only way to find out is to try. I hope your not sensitive to recoil. Good luck.

I shoot carlson tubes in all my benelli's. I even shoot them in my trap guns. I have always had great results. For turkey I shoot an extra full carlson. Call carlson and he will talk to you personally, that's what I did and thats the choke he recommended along with the type of shell he likes. Good luck.

Fantastic patterns with Indian Creek .665 and Hevi-13 3" 2oz, or 3.5" 2.25oz. Seriously good patterns.
Give Indian Creek a call let them know what you have and they will recommend a choke for you. If the choke does not meet your expectations send it back and they will get you one that does.
Great people to do business with.

Save your self some money and use your full choke that came with your nova. With the full choke and a 3 1/2 turkey load I have put clean kills on gobblers at or around 50 yds. Of course you will want to pattern your gun with the choke and the round you will be using in the field before you do any thing.

Brob, it's a hit and miss (sorry for the pun) on after market chokes. Pattern your factory crio chokes first and see if it gives good results with the ammo you choose.

I've tried the carlson x-full in mine but I still get better patterns out of the full choke that came with it. I was able to harvest a couple birds with it. I was shooting 3 1/2 mags.

I found an X-full made by "Dead Coyote?" Which gives me just as good pattern using 2 3/4 shells. I opted for that one because I just couldn't get used to the heavy recoil from 3" and 3 1/2" shells.

Good luck on your search, just remember that your gun is unique to you pendent on ammo/choke combinations.

Congratulations on your purchase of the Super Nova.
