#1 Looks like a hollywood round. Way too much smoke for an actual target round.

#2 If he is shooting a game of skeet, like the
article said, then he would probably have the muzzle in an upward direction.

#3 Why would an "avid skeet shooter" put an
extended choke tube on only one barrel?

#4 Smoke is only coming out of one side of the
compensated barrel.

It doesn't appear that he is experiencing any recoil.
No smoke out of the left side of the ported barrell
Only one shot? No shell pouch or vest

With the cheaters on, one can't tell for sure....but it looks almost like the rib lines up way high of the left eye...
The left cheek crushed down hard on comb, like an inexperienced someone anticipating severe recoil.......noticed the porting only working on the right side...What's with that?....and as the guy said why only one extended choke?....makes a mess but somebody else does the cleaning anyway so who cares?
A stance that has the shotgun too much in line with the shoulders...more like a rifle shooters stance..... The whole thing looks staged to me, a photo op set up by an advisor with no shotgunning experience..................
I had to look twice to notice the missing vest or shell pouch......oh my the whole thing had me so fooled..
and obviously he shoots in a sinister manner   .....
I seen an older picture of President Reagan the other day sighting in his scoped AR...he had it shouldered on the sinister side also....go figure.......Art

It looks like the gun is set up more for trap. He probably doesn't know the difference between skeet and trap.

It looks like someone said "shoot this gun for a photo".

To me, It looks like if his right arm was straighten, it would be longer than the barrels.

I got a really good laugh out of this one. This guy
is holding the gun like it is the first time he ever
picked one up. I can spot a novice/beginner in a
heart beat. That is exactly what Obama looks like
in this posed picture of him supposedly shooting
skeet. Here are the problems with this picture,
from my knowledge on the subject. First off, he
is holding the gun wrong in a beginner know-nothing
position. He has the stock positioned above his shoulder
line, so that the toe of the stock is going to recoil
into his chest or arm, and this will give excessive
muzzle rise when the gun recoils and shoot into his
face as you can see it is doing, pinching his face
flesh between wood and bone. This will beat the
sh*t out of him if he does it very much. Since he
probably only fired one round though for the photo,
no problem. Next, he is not wearing a belt or
vest which all skeet and trap shooters do. They
wear them to hold the shells. 25 shells of a 12
gauge take a lot of space, and you don't keep them
in your pocket. You don't set your box of shells
down on the ground between shots, so that you can
hold the gun with both hands, This would get very
tiresome having to bend over and pickup a shell
for every shot. No skeet, trap, or sporting shooter
does this. As noted, above everyone wears a pouch
to hold the ammo, or a vest to hold the ammo. This
is a staged picture of someone doing one shot, not
someone shooting a round of skeet.

Also, almost all skeet, or trap shooters wear a hat
of visor, to cut down sun glare that interferes with
sight picture and makes vision of the target easier.

Next problem is his stance. He actually leaned slightly
back. Only a first time shooter stands straight up or
is leaned slightly back. All experienced shooters lean
slightly into the shot, to absorb the recoil. Mostly
women lean back when they first try to shoot as if
trying to stay away from the gun. It takes some
coaching for them to lean into it. Obama is apparently
shooting like a girl. I have seen this over and over
with first time shooters.

As noted, the barrel, it lines up with his forehead.

Next in this picture he shoots to the left. The picture
taker is out in the line of fire or he is back within the
skeet field. Assuming he is not out in the line of fire,
the one taking the picture must be somewhere to left
of him and that means that means the low house of the
skeet range has to be to the right of Obama. Note there
is no skeet house there. What you do see is some sort of
paved path or road. That means they put the skeet
range where they would be shooting toward people on
the path or road. I have never seen anyone stupid
enough to set up a skeet range that fired across
a very close path or road.

Also he is shooting parallel to the ground. All skeet shots
are made at targets above the shooters head, so the gun
should be pointing upward. This gun is only pointed slightly
upward, and probably from muzzle rise as it shoots into
his cheek with that idiotic hold he uses.

This is obviously staged.

This guy is no more of a shooter than my mother was.
This is just more of his constant stream of deception.

You are in dreamland. It is a legit photo.

The photo was released by Twitter, the theory that this has to be actually shooting at a clay target, that Obama is an avid skeet shooter, etc., is all fabrication. It is a photo only of Obama firing a shotgun and is completely meaningless beyond that. There is no article, no report, no discussion . . . just a photo released on Twitter. Slow news day.

The pic is real. Many of the preceeding comments are obvious, while others are invented. No supporting article means (to me) it's just a cheap photo opportunity targeted at nervous Democrats. Hell, I hope he had fun and enjoyed shooting.....probably not, but one can hope.

The photo is real all right. It's real stupid. Just about as stupid as this:

Nothing looks more dummied up fake than the stock photo of a Democrat shooting a shotgun. There is a better way to do this. You put kids and pretty girls and maybe one old man in the background, and you run a movie so that you can play it back in slow motion and select the one good shot,,,,if you can get one,,,,of the candidate starting to shoulder the gun,,,never actually shooting it. And you use an 870 or an 1100, that the candidate says is their own,,,and it's much better if that's actually true.

You do not send out PR shots of the Democrat actually shooting the gun, as they will look like a newbie all leaned back. You never, ever, ever have them shoot a nicer gun than the average Democrat will ever be able to afford, and of course the gun has to be American made.

I hope that is not true. I already almost received death threats for inviting you to GunStock. If you are going to shoot like "a Democrat shooting a shotgun," and embarrass us, I'm a dead man!

Oh, people are going to have fun with this one!

What is really curious is with all those Secret Service gun guys around, everyone was either afraid to coach this lemon a little so he didn't look so dumb, or they let him look dumb on purpose. :?

Then explain the Hollywood smoke, and why the smoke is coming out of one side of the ported barrel.
