You are never too young to like good music. I was born in 1989. Bonham was to drums what Jimi Hendrix was to guitars. RIP both of them!

Although never a big Zeppelin fan, I regard Bonham as the all-time best drummer in rock; however, there is only one "best drum solo EVER," and that's not it.
Michael Shrieve of Santana at Woodstock in 1969, Soul Sacrifice
I grew up listening to Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich and the like, and I even played drums in the school band for a couple years before switching to guitar but the world of drumming changed shortly after I got out of the Army in '68. That's when I first heard Ron Bushy.
Ron is the drummer in Iron Butterfly and from the moment his solo on "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" came out, rock drumming would never be the same.
Some of you may remember it and some of you were born a couple decades too late but here are a couple of YouTube links to complete your musical education. The first one is just the solo but to understand how the song got that point you really need to listen to the whole song....all 17:05 of it....with headphones and remember that this was the '60s.
