Another 200 down the tubes for a total of 1950. Everything is running smooth. Just need to clean the chokes. have not touched them since I bought it. Had the Beretta 391 out this week too.

Which one do you shoot better, the 391, or the tri-Star Hunter EX?

Gabbard, They do take Beretta/Benelli Mobil choke styles, I got some extended Carlson's Cyl for skeet which is my primary use. Mine seems to shoot right on POA.

@cdb1097
I missed shooting the 391. I love both Guns and I shoot them about the same, but since the 391 was my first Clays gun it has a special place in my heart.

I love my Semi-Autos also, I consider O/U shotguns to be a hobby.

I have the TriStar Setter ST O/U and absolutely love it. I'm not the best shot and recently new to trap. My scores are better than ever! I have about 200 shots through it and no issues whatsoever.

100 sporting last week and 125 skeet and sporting this week.
2400 total. First time I took out the chokes and gave it a good cleaning. Lots of plastic fouling taken down with the brass brush and the power drill. I really need to clean my chokes more often.

I like the looks of the EX hunter just a little afraid of quality this test makes me think I want the 20 gauge. Can be bought on Buds for less than 500. If I sell me 870 20 gauge I think i will order a Tri Star.

Another 175 down total of 2825. Enjoying it so far. No issues and breaks clays like a charm.

Good to hear, I see they make a 16 Ga model, I may look into it as I love the 16.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Especially that 16 Ga, dang, a 6 pound 16 Ga, that would make one heck of an upland gun cdb

Never had the first problem out of my tristars. Hunter 3.5 o/u and raptor.
I really think tristar is similar to savage about 15 years ago

For those that shoot Tristars, what's the highest round count you've recorded?

125 down for a total of 2950. A tiny amount of surface rust has appeared on the barrel, but that is really my fault for shooting in the rain and not doing a good job of cleaning and oiling it. I need to give her some TLC.
