English shot size versus US or Italian

UK shot sizes:
7 2.4 mm
7 1/2 2.3 mm
8 2.2 mm
9 2

US and Italian shot sizes:
7 1/2 2.41 mm
8 2.29 mm
8 1/2 2.16 mm
9 2.03 mm

Therefore our 7 1/2 is close to an UK 7. Our 8 to an UK 7 1/2, Our 8 1/2 has no equivalent. Our 9 is comparable to an UK 8. Probably our 9 1/2 is a UK 9.

FYI FITASC requires ammo within 2 mm and 2.5 mm in diameter.
