As a prospective buyer of a new K80, should I wait for the 34" bbl?

Tv, That depends.....are you currently a shooter of either a 34" O/U or a 30" autoloader? If so, the 34" K-80 Parcours makes sense. If you are currently shooting a 32" O/U, then the answer is a firm, 'it depends'. Ask yourself what you think a 34" barreled Parcours will do for you that a 32" wouldn't do?
At this time, I am staying with my 32". I may play with a 34" more when they are available. I shot the proto last fall at Nationals.....it felt good, but I'm not sure it does anything better 'for me'. YMMV.
Best,
Will

Clarc, at the risk of starting some kind of friendly online war, I have to take exception with your statement, "built to last just like German cars".
I had two E-Classes and they both ended up costing me a fortune in repair bills. I could have had at least one Krieghoff and maybe a spare Perazzi for what I put into those cars over the years.
I would agree, however, that the K guns are built to last.
