Maxus. The others are all fine firearms though.

The term "Best" is not one usually reserved for auto loaders... :P

It is when the question is "best auto loading shotgun."

IMO, Beretta makes the best. The 390/391 is hard to beat but others incluse the Benelli, Winchester SX3 and Remington 1100.

The "best semiauto" has a generational context. Younger people like their Benellis for hunting and their 391s for target shooting........more plastic and "Star Wars" styling is on the horizon...after all, impressionable younger shooters can be had with "smoke and mirrors"......

Keep buying those Benellis and 391s........(stay away from the "REAL DEAL"...you see, they are becoming harder to find....)

My 391 is neither plastic nor has Star Wars styling. It's a beautiful, elegant shotgun that runs like a Ferrari and is just as stylish.

My 1100 Classic Trap is also a great-looking shotgun with traditional styling. It has beautiful wood and tasteful engraving.

The new Beretta A400 has a somewhat modern, rakish look, but with aesthetically pleasing lines.

I have a Browning Gold Fusion, Browning Gold, and a Beretta 3901... I have a hard time choosing which one is best...

I think my favorite may be the Gold Fusion...
