What tool have y'all found works on the versa valve bolt ? To take it off ?

I think that's the gas piston, just use an open end wrench, it might be tight but it comes loose with out much hassle.

Yuge thanks to the poster that said to put the operating handle in backwards!

I've many firearms, but this is my first auto loader. Worked liked a charm.

Yeah, I reassembled my buddies v3 after cleaning it. Pushed the bolt in too far past the aligning spot for pushing in the charging handle and heard a ‘click’ sound and the bolt was stuck. After getting nervous about it I looked in the slot where the charge handle goes and saw a hole further in. I stuck a small punch in the hole and tilted it forward or back which caused something to release and allowed the bolt to come out forward again.
