Hi all, I started a youtube channel a few weeks back doing gun reviews, would anyone mind if I posted a link here?

The review guns come from my local gun store but I am not "sponsored" by anyone and my opinions are my own, I am not shilling guns for anyone.

Folks seem to be enjoying the series so I am just trying to get the word around.

Why don't you post one so we can see what it's like?

I've watched quite a few of Lloyds "Gun Shorts" videos. Very informative & honest reviews. I especially liked the review comparing the Perazzi MX2000S to the MX2000, and the review of the K80 Parcours. Keep the videos coming Lloyd......I'm about to watch your latest (yesterday) on the Beretta 686 comparison. Regards, MegaFrank1960

Hey thanks guys, I feel very welcomed :)

Didn't want to just go ahead and start posting links as I was banned from doing that in a forum in the U.K.

My channel:
https://www.youtube.com/user/lloydyp

I post new reviews every 2 weeks. Although I'm hoping to add kit reviews which I can post in between the major content. I hope you all enjoy the channel.

Lloyd, where do you get the guns you test? It helps to know if these are personally bought or friends guns instead of provided by a manufacturer for testing purposes.

They are loaned from a local gun store with whom I have an arrangement. They are seconds hand guns or demonstrators basically.

Hi,

Pretty nicely done for a review. It's good to hear opinions and observations from across the pond. You can bring a different perspective.

If there is one criticism, it would be when disassembling a gun, provide closeup shots. And point to and explain the various bits inside. You would be surprised at how little many shooters actually know about how a firearm actually works. I would have loved to see closeup shots of the insides of both those guns to really see the differences. I ain't ever getting the chance to pull the butt stock off of a Perazzi to marvel at the workmanship.

A very enjoyable and honest review of each gun. I almost didn't open the post, happy I did and will visit him regularly.

Lloyd I've watched alot of your reviews actually, I really like them I think they are well done, and keep em coming, do as your heart and time desires!

Some are leary of reviews on here because they get hooked up with a mfg and then start "shilling" guns as mentioned earlier on by another member here.

You'll get someone asking about a Remington vs Benelli and something will come from left field, that the original poster wasn't even interested in, and since we don't know, that person might have already narrowed down their options to just those two.

Some great posts above.

I love your reviews Lloyd. I also like Peter Blakeley's and you guys have the same spirit about it except he sometimes wears a lot more tweeds than you do! And that's a good change of pace for us guys and gals on this side of the pond.

The only trouble I have is with the audio quality. Sometimes it sounds just like you are speaking English but with a really funny accent.....LOL

That's because I am a Geordie:

Except that is undoubtedly the worst geordie accent ever committed to film.
