Has anyone used Vario or CENS electronic ear protection from England while living in the States?
For whatever reason, both of these products appear to be well reviewed. Interestingly both are digital and they are about 35% cheaper than the least expensive analog ESPs. The CENS product appears to be the Westone DefendEar at a price of of about 60% of the DefendEar (using current conversation rates). Lloyd Pattison recently reviewed the CENS ProFlex DX1 (it is what he bought for personal use). This apparently is the same as the DigitalX 1. The CENS is $399 pounds (which converts to $521) while the DefendEar is $980. Obviously freight and local impressions will take some of the cost, but why shouldn't someone order from England?
