I have gone on my first pheasant hunt and made the mistake of taking one of my sporting clays guns with me. After carrying that weight around for one day of hunting I was loaned a Franchi Instinct SL in 12 gauge. Much lighter and easier to carry and I shot well with it.

So, two questions.

1. Specs for the SL vs the L indicate that the SL is lighter. Is it in reality?

2. How are these guns holding up over the long-haul?

"So many guns, so little time."

Browning 725 Sporting (12 ga.)
Benelli SS (12 ga.)
Browning Citori Ultra XS Sporting (20 ga.)
Browning Citori Lightning (28 ga.)
