Stumbled on this while on gunsinternational.com. It sure didn't take long to sell. All I can say is Wow! The close-ups of the gold inlay really show the craftsmanship that went into these guns.

Someone here spoke with the folks at arts and said it was to be priced at $15,000, assuming it's the same one....

It was listed at $12,000 but didn’t sell for that, from what I heard

When I saw it Brad said he thought they’d list it for $15,000 and sell it for a few thousand less.

They did a nice job. I didn’t see the stock but the receiver had holes drilled on top for a scope. I wonder if the new owner will mount a scope...

Rudolph, I wish I could’ve seen it before they did the work, it came in later in the day that I dropped mine off

It looked a lot like yours except for those holes. I saw the receiver only. Still, I never thought I’d encounter a Grade IV outside of a museum, and I saw two in one day! I gotta break another shotgun so I’ll have an excuse to go down there and see what else is lying around.
