Or would you have to probably drop it on the floor to break it.

Have considered buying one but this issue concerns me a bit. Approx 8th picture down.

Would not be concerned about it to much but seams like nobody stocks barrels for this gun.

I have not dropped mine on the ground so I cant tell you if thats what it would take to break it off. I would hazzard a guess that would do it tho.
On the other topic, Barrels are readily avaiable here, and for a good price to.

i bought the 24 inch and have been using it exclusivly for up land hunting.
The verona sx 405 has the exact same barrel, and other matching parts as well since it was made at the same factory.

Thanks for the A-1 info! You are the only one that has provided a link that works with a barrel in stock.

(1) Is the Veronal barrell made by Sarzilmaz out of turkey and fits the Excell generation 2 model with the rounded back remmington style receiver. My understaning is that the Excell 2 is made by Sarzilmaz out of Turkey and marketed by H&R (NEF) in america (H&R now bought out by Remington & discontinued)

(2.) Sounds like the gun has been good to you, this is correct?

Great to hear from an owner!

Note the Verona 28" Barrel only shows being for 2.75" shells? Where the Excell is up to 3". Other barrels do state 3"

Note for others, the ejector appears to be held in well. Itt has some sort of round stake that goes all the way through the barrel you can see on the outside of the barrel that is ground or pressed in flush. Ejector could still get bopped and broken if dropped or something but not likely to come loose on its own (by appearance any way)
