Holy cow! I just picked up an 1100 LW 410 skeet. Remington told me it was made in 1977. I had soooo much fun with it on the skeet field. No recoil, just smashes the birds when I do my part. So far it does not seem too picky with ammo. The only downside is chasing hulls, but well worth the fun I had with it. I'll take some pictures to post if anyone cares. :D

Enjoy a very nice .410 bore autoloader. Search for a Remington weight kit and it will swing and handle much like a 12 ga.

I also use an autoloader for skeet and this is really a must have in my view:

Available from Amazon and other retailers.

I do not trust Remington's dating service accuracy. If they were Match.com, you could end up with Nancy Pelosi.

You'd be surprised how much fun you can have with it on preserve quail and doves out to 25 yards or so. That looks like one of the nice weights that the late Doyle Long of Newberry, SC made...perfect. Enjoy your new .410; it's a beauty!

If you reload, just be sure you get a good radius in the crimp so that the shells will feed. After two or three reloads failure to feed problems start to show up, so quality ammo is a must with these guns.

Thank you very much. Looks like its all original. I'm still loving the gun. It's working well with my reloads too. It is throwing the hulls 20 feet, is that normal?
