 Post subject: Is it impossible to create a telescoping stock fot the 930?

I'm not sure if it's because there isn't much of a market for an adjustable stock for the 930 or if it's because it's mechanically or technically very difficult or impossible to do it.

It actually has been done, although I don't know that it is beyond a prototype yet. But there is at least a working sample.
It does require modifying the gun.

Anything is possible... The reason nobody's done it yet is simple.... MONEY!!

If you want to make it out of synthetic materials (plastics) then the costs to make the molds for each of the parts is HUGE, sometimes $100K+ per mold, there aren't a lot of companies that are willing to pony up that kind of cash... they have to figure out how much they can sell them for and how quick they'll be able to re-coup their money from the molds...

Remember, Benelli was paid by the government for development costs, and those stocks still sell for more than a COMPLETE 930....

Even if available, I don't think I'd be lining up to get one (might be too EVIL for Connecticut, anyway)
