Q The gun is a Winchester 10ga lever action shotgun. It has a "Model 01 10 GA" on it and the serieal # as well. Some of the patent #'s are Feb 16.86, July 20.86, Dec 14.86 and Aug 31.97.
A What you have there is a Winchester 1901 lever Action (the model is also the first year of production).
The 1901 is a redesigned version of the 1887 lever action which explains the early patent dates. One difference being, the 1901 was only offered in 10 ga.
It was made from 1901 - 1920.
You should determine if you have the standard grade ($ 1295) or the Deluxe version ($1625)
Q Does anyone have an idea what a Winchester Model 11 shotgun would be worth? It is in good condition, has an SL on the stock patent date 1911. It has the scroll work on it and an extra barrell.
A It was made from 1911 to 1925 Value around $475 I can't say yet about the additional value.
Numrich has model 11 barrels for sale for $119
Q Anyone have an value info on a :

Info , model 12 black Diamond
Some of the early Black Diamond guns had a diamond stamped on the front of the barrel adj. collar between the barrel and mag tube. Being a trap marked gun it is most likely that the original stock was checkered and the one on the gun now a replacement but not being able to see the gun it is hard to tell. If the gun is a black diamond gun the original stock would of had the inlaid black diamonds on the side of the grip and the internal parts would of had a higher degree of polishing/fitting done to them above standard field/trap guns
Q Do all Model 23 Pigeon XTR grade guns have the same engraving of birds on the receiver? or was this a custom option?
A I really can't say for sure. It appears that they all had scroll work (see description below), but to me scroll is different from engraving. It doesn't mention birds of any kind.
"12 or 20 ga., 3 in. chambers, 25½, 26, 28, or 30 in. barrels, various chokes, single trigger, VR, auto ejectors, scroll engraved, silver grey satin finish, blued barrel, checkered select walnut stock and forearm, first commercial gun to employ interchangeable chokes. Mfg. 1978-disc."

A According to the Gun Traders Guide A winchester 24 in 16ga. is worth approx. $550

When you field strip it for cleaning the trigger assembly is
