Value and/or date of mfg help us help you, will need:
Model #, barrel(s) length, choke(s), plain, solid rib, vent rib, stlye of stocks, plain walnut, checkered, to date it will need the S/N like this 654xxx or 1566xxx you get the idea.
Note: dating a Post 64 gun is not as easy as the pre 64 guns. Not much has been published.
Regards Dave

Hi. I have a kinda oddball Model 12, but with some research reading & this great forum, I have a better idea of what I have. It is a Model 12, 12 Ga., 30" Solid rib, Full choke, 3" Super Speed-Super X, Straight grip English stock checkered at the wrist, Checkered extension forearm, Ser. # 179XXXX (1959?). So would the correct terminology = Super Field Grade Heavy Duck Solid Rib English Stock ? That's a mouthful! Could this be a type of Trap gun? Did any Trap guns have 3" chambers? It does not say Trap. I would like to know approximate value. It is in very, very good condition. I did not notice any booger jobs on the wood or metal. Thanks!

I have a 1980's Era Winchester Model 101 XTR 12 Gauge. 2 3/4 inch chamber 26 inch vent rib barrels improved cylinder and modified chokes. Symbol G1015. It has never been fired and I have the original documentation down to the winchester purchase record cards, hunter's pocket guide, authorized service center list and instruction manual. The tag that came with it refers to it as a field gun, and it looks like it is a walnut stock. Serial number is K430294.

Thanks!

I just picked this up at a gun show from a guy - how'd I do?

Winchester Model 12
16 gauge
26" barrel with 85% blueing - inside is like glass
Receiver has 30% bluing but no rust
Mod choke
No rib
PG stock - plain walnut - no checkering
Ser #918130
All parts matching

Paid $285

Thanks.

JOzzy

Super X Model 1, s/n 26220. Mostly interested in year manufactured but actual value would be good info; 12 gauge, 28" VR w/ mod choke, checkered walnut stock/forearm. Have been told it is in about 90% condition. Just bought it for $300. Thanks.

I am brand new to the forum, and this is my first post. I just purchased a NIB/NOS Winchester 1300 Black Shadow, and would like to know when it was made. Thanks!

12 Gauge Model 12, Full Choke, No Rib, No Checkering, Barrel has been cut, S/N is 421XXX, how old is this gun? Can it be worth much with a crappy barrel chop?

You should post this down in the regular forum. Very few look at this page.

The gun was made in 1925, and the chopped barrel ruins it's value.
