no, you did good. just remember, if it is a real factory skeet gun, it should have grip cap and 3 diamond f.arm.

I think that he was talking of seeing a barrel, not a whole gun.

Well, I just couldn't bring myself to it, to pay $250 plus tax OTD just for a Round Post 26" VR WS-1 12 ga model 50 barrel. It was legit, but I just couldn't do it.

OK, now I'm confused.

Bobski,

First, I was told "he still did good" by NOT buying it and then "bad loss" by NOT buying it. Which one is it?

The guy wanted $275 plus tax (7%), was that a good price for a 26" WS-1 Round Post Vent Rib Model 50 12 gauge 2 3/4" barrel in 95% original condition?

I thought it was a bit high and offered $200 cash OTD for the barrel, which he would not accept.

No luck yet. I am trying to get in touch with the show coordinator/promoter and we have been playing tag.

As you probably know, from past posts in the Winchester Dave era, I am, here in the U.K. the proud owner of a #50 and two #59s.

I gleaned all of my knowledge of these guns from enthusiasts on this site.

I would like to show pics, if someone could tutor me in posting them from my iPad camera roll!

Here you go. It's not that tough once you figure it out.

Weird, I have tried my Ipad, my computer and my phone. Still nothing but a small icon that says image. When I right click and select see source, it takes me to a beretta page? What format do you see the image in?
