I own a 9 year old SuperSport that is my go to gun for all clay target sports. The gun has been absolutely reliable and has at least 20k rounds through it. I detail clean it between 1000-1500 rounds of use, or whenever the action gets sluggish when shooting light target loads. With that as background, my question is does anyone have any information regarding if or when the major springs should be replaced in this gun? I know this is critical on many models of gas guns to keep them working well and prevent damage, but have never seen any information regarding routine spring replacement on an inertia gun. Please keep in mind I am not looking to "improve" performance, but simply to maintain the guns performance as is. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Every 10,000 rounds, whether Beretta, Benellli, 1100, 11-87, Browning, etc.

You won't be sorry in doing it. Lost count when I did mine; and it was due to starting to short stroke on light loads when cold. Recoil, hammer, inertia, firing pin and magazine springs and you'll have a whole new gun :D Only downside was I had to go to Midway, Brownells, and MGW to get the parts at one time.

Yeah, the inertia spring does not appear to be in stock anywhere right now. I cleaned the gun yesterday and will give it a rest until I can replace the springs you mentioned above.
