Forgot just how nice this gun is for (less than 35yds.) Sporting Clays.Simple,smooth and a deadly friend.Call me crazy, but I may just bring it along next tournament day and see if it may be to my advantage on that close stuff.Thanks Sturm,Ruger for a keeper of a gun.

Hvae to agree with you. I shoot a RRL 28 ga quite a bit and I love how that gun handles the clays. It is one sweet gun. Thousands and thousands of rounds through it and not one problem. It does a fine job on pheasants, too.
