I don't think RUger sells them seperately... check gunbroker.

Depends on the gun. Ruger will not sell you a set of barrels, but will fit a new set of barrels if you ship the gun to them (at least they would last time I checked). The probable glitch is that they changed barrel configurations and the screw-choke barrels will generally not fit the earlier fixed-choke guns. Call Ruger. I tried it with my old blued frame 20 and it was a no-go.

Mike Orlen has a great reputation for barrel/choke work, he supports SGW and gives SGW members wholesale prices.

Getting choke tubes installed in your current barrels would be much more practical than buying a new set of barrels and having them fitted.

I have a 20ga blue receiver Red Label with fixed chokes on a 26in barrel bought in 1980. I called about two weeks ago to see if I could get a longer 28in set of barrels fitted. The woman said they were not doing "elective" re-barreling "at this time". I asked did that mean they would be doing it in the future and got no answer. She did mention that new barrels might not fit an older gun because of something they had changed. So if you need new barrels, you have to back over your current set with your pickup truck, then the re-barreling would not be "elective".

LOL  Have not needed it personally, but everyone raves about Ruger's willingness to fix any of their guns.

I wonder would they have done it if I told her someone stole my barrels and left me with only the receiver?
