Found out how to do this so I thoght I wopuld pass it on. It takes a special tool to remove the pin that holds the transfer bar in place. the transfer bar keeps the firing pin. the special tool is a hollow punch with half of the dia ground off. It has a lip inside that will surround the groove that is under the head of the pin so that you can extract it from the blind hole. Dont know why Ruger did not drill the hole all the way through so that you could drift the pin out. You might also pull this pin with a small dental pick with a 90 degree bend in the end.
