Not exactly "Tactical" but it does sort of have the appearance of something a Policeman would have a while back.

I know there's nothing tactical about the maverick, but its in the pic anyway
Image

and the 930, it doesn't really strike me as tactical, but it says tactical on the side, LOL

Here are some before and after pictures of my 2010 20 gauge 870 express.
This is the youth model with shorter stock and 21 inch barrel.

Before-
Image

After-
Image

Image

Mods are as follows:
ATI Talon T2 adjustable stock
Image

B-square saddle mount topped with a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot
Image

ATI akita fore-end
Image

Nordic components 4 shot mag extension and barrel clamp with picatinny rail.
She now holds 8, 2 3/4 shells in the tube and 1 in the chamber for 9 total.
Also added a Carlson's extended cylinder bore choke tube to even out the barrel
with the mag extension.
Image

Streamlight TLR-1 HL weapon light. 630 lumens. May seem like alot, but I
live on a farm. Possibility I may have to go outside and investigate if something
is not right out there.
Image

Just need to get a sling, another barrel clamp for the end of the barrel and mag tube,
and maybe a velcro side saddle. Then she'll be done. Really like this setup. This is now
my deer gun and my HD gun. She shoots real nice groups with slugs at 50 yards all
day long when I do my part.

This year, I decided to build my dream shotgun which happens to be an 870. After doing tons of research I decided to pony up and sent my 870 to Vang Comp Systems. This build has gone thru a lot of makeovers, finally I feel satisfied with end result. Only thing I change out is rifle stock for pistol grip every other cleaning. I really love it. Here is what's been upgraded.

VCS Barrel Work w/Ports
VCS Big Dome Safety
VCS Stainless Steel Follower
VCS Detachable Side Ammunition Carrier (DSAC)
VCS Ghost Ring Sight Set w/Tritium Insert

I really loved my Magoul MOE forend paired with my Inforce WMLx @ 9 o'clock, but ports carbon fouled the lens. I tried it at 6 o'clock and I just couldn't shoot it comfortably. So I ordered a Surefire DSF.

Other upgrades:

Remington 870 Police Stock w/SuperCell Recoil Pad
GG&G Sling Plate
Remington 870 Marine Magnum Forged Extractor (2014, which has bevel like MIM which does not require fitting and will not score receiver)
Upgraded to Dog Spring to Carrier Latch spring (1100/Police)
Remington 870 Police 7 Shot Extension Spring.

You will LOVE the VCS. My 870P is a legitimate 35yd gun with Ranger 00B. When I do my SBS, I'll have the VCS work done to it.

Yep, I love it. Love the reduction in felt recoil and muzzle stays put when shooting slugs, even 3" mag.

I've pattern 00BK, I got tight patterns as advertised especially with quality buffered shot. With un-buffered I get 10-12 inches at 20-25 yards. Even roll crimped Estate 00BK

Mossberg 590! Bayonet lug gone! Hogue stock and forend! S&J front sling mount! Entire gun refinished! I love this shotgun. I'll try to get better photos tomorrow. I ran out of daylight today.

That burnt beonze looks sweet. Would look cooler with a black stock and forend imho. Not a bad looking gun.

ATI tactical stock, 3 rail for-end 2 headlights(Harbor Fright free flashlights) mounted in one 25 mm scope they have held on for 25/40 slugs rounds and they also still work. Import pump fold down handle on the forehand. Generic style green laser under the for-end with squeeze switch. Shell saddle, and isolate-it vib dampener rubber sheet to be cut and fitted to the pump pull. Along with the rail covers on all exposed rail slots. Haven't figured out what type of sights or sight mounts that I want yet

Why would you use 2 lights? Also, you have a sight. You've got a bead up front that could be replaced with a high visibility fiber optic in green or red for less than $20. I cringe when I see shotguns with full length rails and AR sights. Shotguns are not intended to be used for long range shooting and rifle sights sit so high that they don't even work for real shooting. You'll aim for the head on a man sized target and hit him in the balls. Get a shotgun that comes with ghost rings, get a rail for the receiver and put a red dot on it OR just get a fiber optic bead. The most practical thing you can do to that shotgun would be to be get the Mossberg capacity upgrade kit, switch it out to a 20" barrel and full length 7 round magazine tube.

I couldn't stop laughing while taking this picture - But I felt it had to be done.

You're not the only one with Nerf guns. I got the yellow one at a garage sale for $2 a few weeks ago. My fiance and I have nerf wars with my nephew whenever we get together.
