Bought an O/U for clays so offering my Browning Auto 5, 12 gauge 1967 Belgium-made, with Mirouku 28" vent rib barrel, takes Invector chokes. All updated springs: new recoil spring, action spring, locking latch spring, bronze friction piece, magazine spring. No screws were buggered during their replacement ;) Beautiful french walnut outside of some crazing and the scratch on the stock it is tight, no cracks. Original buttplate. Forearm has some wear on the finish. Barrel has a marbles brass bradley style bead. 100% reliable with target loads, and crushes clays. Includes an A5 case, with a slight 1" modification to the case for fit, 4 flush fit choke tubes IC, M, IM, F with wrench and pouch. **SOLD

Wow, the barrel alone is worth $450. Why are you giving it away?

I wanted to offer a good deal for this board, especially to get into an Auto 5 that doesn't need a thing, not even a cleaning. There is some finish checking on the stock when you look really closely. That scratch will wear in with more use, or a minwax pencil will blend it in.

I'm certainly not opposed to keeping it and install a 1/2 recoil pad for my son to use as his LOP is longer.

Where are you located in Ohio?

How light are your target loads...have you tried it with 1 oz. at 1180-1200 or 7/8 at 1200-1250?

Thanks

Sure, I'm in Cincinnati.

No issues cycling 1 oz. loads at 1200 and 1290, and those, and 1 1/8 at 1145 and 1200 are mainly what I shoot, and haven't tried anything lighter.

Thanks.

Thought I might take a look at it but I'm about as far away as one can get from Cincinnati and still be in Ohio...but your photos are quite good enough. I am in the market for a "back up" as an excuse for a new toy. Always appreciated the classic A-5 ever since I was a young lad many, many, years ago but have never yet had one of my own. They were the gun to have when I started out.

Yours caught my eye.

Sounds good, I don't hunt, if I did, Lord knows how many more in the stable would be justified. :) Well, it's a solid classic Auto 5, with the convenience of choke tubes and steel shot. Note, it's not a Light Twelve, and is right at 8 lbs.
