It's been over a year since I posted this sticky and most people seem to be following the rules. Thanks everyone! Way to go!

There are two moderators of the political forum, md beatt and TMats. Click on either highlighted name at the top of that forum and PM them, requesting to be allowed to post there.

So the political season is bringing political posts out of the woodwork. From here on forward, I'm going to move political posts to the Politics forum but I am not going to leave a shadow link in the Off-Topic forum.

Please join the Politics Forum and post political commentary there. It is easy to join. You need to go to this page:

Then select the radio button on the right side that corresponds to the Political Forum. Next go to the bottom of the page where there is a drop-down box with "Select" next to it. Choose "Join selected" from the drop-down list, and then click the Submit button.

After a short period of time, you will be added to the group.
