Every time I visit the site on my iphone or ipad, I am redirected to spam/fraud websites for free gift cards, 'WARNING: YOUR DEVICE HAS BEEN HACKED!", "find singles in your area", etc! What is going on here??? I have never experienced this until now and I've used this website for nearly five years.

I am using a brand new iPhone 11 and I continue to get the annoying messages ... I’ve won a prize, my phone has been corrupted by this site, etc. I just got one 5 minutes ago. These are crazy times!

The number of times I get a virus warning has decreased, but it is still often enough to be very irritating. No one seems to be acknowledging that there's a problem. It must not be affecting a lot of members or the complaints would be piling up by now.

I get it too about 4 out of five times I click on the link in my favorites. IPhone 7 Plus.

I get it on my phone, Android, but I rarely use my phone to surf the forum.

I'm getting the virus alerts from Avast on my MacBook.

You can use the Campfire app on your iPhone to access the forum. There are limitations to using it (no emojis) but it is quick and eliminates the virus problem.

I have made the Admin aware of this thread. The problem is probably due to a dirty site that is referred to by one of the advertiser links. Since the "dirty one" probably tries to pop-up randomly it will be a slow process to iron out which one has the problem. Don't click any links in Pop-ups until you stop getting alerts is the best advice that I have to offer at this time.
I went to this site without logging in and could not get the alert. Thus my line of reasoning.
Also, the problem you are seeing, may be something resident on your devices. BTW, there are known instances of Malware out there for Apple products now so the old invulnerable Apple is no longer.

Not sure if anyone else has encountered this but will relate in hope that it can be fixed. From my desktop PC, not a phone or tablet I find I cannot post to certain threads. I've tried closing the browser and restarting, even rebooted the PC without success. It does not seem to be related to foes I've blocked, strange.

Certain subsections, like Politics, require something else to be able to join and respond - is that what you are referring to?

I'm aware of the vulnerability of even Apple products these days. I use Malwarebytes and Avast to help keep an eye on what might get through to my MacBook and I scan regularly.

I’m still getting the mess and this is the only place I get it ... FWIW.

I forgot to mention... I have my pop-up blocker enabled and I have never clicked on a pop-up ad on this forum.
